Again, I’m not the type to get star-struck, but meeting Jonathan Van Ness was pretty neat. This project with Inti St Clair was for Target Stores and Purina through the GOLIN ad agency. JVN welcomed us to their house here in Austin TX to do the shoot with their own pets. It was utterly adorable. Larry the cat was my favorite! He’s the agreeable grey and white one. We set up plenty of covid protocols specifically for JVN’s house, and had a medic on set since we had untrained animals on set. I also added extra zoom streaming on-set cameras for the fully remote ad agency, client, and animal welfare folks to view what was happening in the room, not just showing the images that Inti was snapping. All the crew went home with extras from the Dog & Cat treats that Purina sent us for the shoot.
