With the CDC’s new guidance based on Community Levels, I’m happy to say that I am ready to modify my Covid Protocols. This decision comes after a long time considering how and when would be the right time to do so. The CDC Community Levels for the counties in which I most often work have been Low for several weeks. Many of the photographers, ad agencies, and crew members that I work with often have been asking about loosening the protocols, so we’re taking steps to make production during this low season of covid easier, faster, and less expensive. Every shoot is unique and our approach will be customized accordingly, but overall, this should make folks a lot happier on set.
While large production companies and Film Unions may still be using a very robust and expensive “2020 Standard” of their safety procedures for a while, my team is ready for change. Here is a link to view my New COVID Protocols PDF:
