Charles Schwab – Andy Mahr

Andy Mahr got booked on a shoot for Charles Schwab to feature their Ampersand which represents their Retirement Planning Services and the “Power of &”. This work came through The Richards Group in Dallas who have been a great partner in the past for me! The two big components of this gig were: #1. clients wanted a 6ft tall ‘prop’ that is their very own ampersand, in 3D, that people could interact with, and #2. that “&” prop needed to ship to Cleveland Ohio where the clients had a large office. Thankfully I know a really great prop shop called Avec Mode! His team built out this prop really swiftly, right before they got into the intensity of SXSW in Austin. They were also tasked with building a crate that would keep it safe through shipping from their workshop Austin TX to Creative House Studios in Cleveland OH. This was my larger learning experience. How to Freight Ship an 800lb x 7ft tall wooden crate across the country. I found a website called Freight Quote that allows you to enter shipment details and they give you about 5 options for couriers and delivery times.
