Jonathan Chapman – Why I…? Austin Edition

They’re one guy I know who always has a personal project cooking. It’s my friend, Jonathan Chapman. For this round, we brainstormed some ideas for shooting here in Austin TX that would give a real local feel. Joining the team (as usual) was Nicolas de Miranda, DP from NYC. Our goal was to create 3-4 stories and possibly weave them together. Longer term goal is to do this all again in other cities such as New Orleans, Toronto, or really anywhere else!

The project codename is: “Why I…” and the meaning behind it is to tell you all why I do the work/hobby/activity that fills me up and makes me who I am. We have a mobile workshop horseshoe Farrier Andrew de Soto, a vintage japanese motorcycle repair shop run by a British fella, a sassy singer songwriter motorcycle enthusiast, and a well seasoned barbecue pitmaster in small town Texas.

Crew: Nicolas de Miranda – DP, John Fontana – Audio Tech, Chris Worlow – Digi Tech and Drone Pilot
