Meanwhile in San Antonio, Callie Lipkin got a super sweet project for UnitedHealthgroup (UHG) from her rep (and my friend) Paula Gren / The Gren Group. I had never met Callie before but I gotta say this woman has a lot of firey energy to offer! We had two fun days of shooting at Wellmed facilities: a senior activity center (so cute!), a Wellmed clinic, and the newly completed Wellmed HQ in San Antonio. The Wellmed folks were really great hosts for us. I visited all three locations in advance to do some location scouting AND casting for the seniors that we would use in the images. We found out some of these folks were real characters, and almost everyone wanted to get into the shoot. The Wellmed employees at HQ were a little more bashful, but we got the right mix for the scenes we wanted to set up. My good friend John Brewster helped me with the casting and we have a fun day in SA.
