It’s not often that I get a shoot with a Studio Set Build, but for the level of damage that ServiceMaster wanted, this was the only way! Photographer/Director Jonathan Chapman and I coordinated with and a really fantastic art department and set builder team to create a Hotel Lobby and a Retail Store that we would BURN and FLOOD respectively in ACME Studios in Minneapolis. Most of the burn components were torched outdoors, then assembled in studio. The flooded set all had to be done at once in studio, and we had sooooo much water to be careful with. If the rubber contained broke, we would have a huge mess to deal with. It all looked pretty realistic and the actors loved it. Our clients went away with some really great material!
