This was a pretty big deal for me because I don’t often get on shoots where the main intention is for multiple commercials, and I gotta say: Video Crews get big very fast! I’m astounded how much we can get done with a really solid photo team that knows constant lights. This one was the former. The Production Company RW2 Productions hired me to cover a lot more than the usual for a Line Producer, which is definitely the way I like it. The ad agency Hanson Dodge Creative came down for the shoot with good numbers as well. I was really excited that Andrew White (photographer/director) and I were a great match. Our location scout found three spectacular spots for these videos, and honestly this should have been one day longer to shoot it all; our 2nd day ended up billing at around 18 hours. Insane. The only way we pulled it off is by doubling up on two sides of a duplex which we dressed in 2 different ways! You’d never know, but they spaces are identically mirrored. The motorcycle shop was a gem as well, as it was actually a design studio. I feel like so much of the heavy video equipment is a total waste of time, but if they wanna lay track, then go for it. Sheesh! I couldn’t be more pleased with the final product though!
BTS because they’re always fun!
